About The Clinic
On visiting the clinic, our registered dietitians will review your dietary patterns and medical history to develop a unique nutrition plan fitting your needs. At the end of your visit, you will be provided with a concise plan to begin your journey toward enhanced health.
During your visit:
- You’ll be aware of how what you eat affects your physical performance, disease or condition.
- Your dietitian will work with you to discuss and set your unique nutrition plan.
- You will learn skills and techniques to be able to apply needed changes (i.e. label reading, how to balance meals to feel satisfied
To be on top of your health, you should see a dietitian even without symptoms. In other words, it is not wise to wait until you suffer from unhealthy weight changes to go to your physician. So if you have a condition affected by your eating habits, make an appointment with a registered dietitian as soon as possible.
When you schedule your appointment, we will ask you to provide important information that will help us evaluate your current condition:
- Be prepared with the questions you want to ask
- Bring a notebook and pen, we encourage you to take notes
- If this is a follow up visit, you have to remember to write down the changes you have experienced since your last visit.
- All records that refer in any way to your condition
- A complete list of your medications
- All prior medical records, including x-ray films, biopsy reports, lab and/or pathology records
- Any necessary referrals or prior authorization required by your insurance company
Patients are generally seen by appointment, however if your situation is urgent, contact emergency services and visit our around the clock Emergency department where every effort will be made to get you on top of your health.
