Get in touch with the Referring Physician Hotline to:

  • Booking for elective and emergency procedures for your patients (booking policy is only applicable to consultants) 
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Acquire information on our clinical specialists and services
  • Receive assistance in the resolution of any service-related issues
  • Connect with HIH’s specialists.

When contacting us to schedule your patients, please have the following information readily available:

  • Patient demographic information
  • Reason for visit
  • Nature of medical issue
  • Any special requests that will require facilitation once the patient arrives
  • Patient insurance information, if available

Patients with urgent medical or surgical needs are given priority in the appointment system. Appointments for non-urgent medical issues are scheduled accordingly.

HIH’s Referring Physician team will work together with your patient to ease the completion of the registration process and to schedule an appointment at the patient’s convenience. You will be informed once the appointment is scheduled.

Once your patient has been seen at Hassabo International Hospital you will receive the following:

  • Medical records and Summary reports
  • You will receive your patient’s HIH’s medical records in a timely manner once he or she is seen. Our physicians will provide a summary of diagnostic reports and treatments to you as soon as it becomes available. Records will be sent via mail or fax for those providers when requested.

Physician Relations team is responsible for continually addressing the needs of our customers – referring physicians and their office staff.
The Referring Physician Team is a resource for all providers outside Hassabo International Hospital, whether you’re getting in touch with HIH for the first time or have an ongoing relationship with us and our providers. Physician liaisons work closely with HIH’s clinical areas to bring the most up-to-date, relevant information to referring providers and their staff members.

The Referring Physician Team in our office can::

  • Visit you
    We’ll travel to your office to discuss the referral process, provide any necessary guidance, share relevant referral materials and contact information, and answer any questions you have about referring patients to Hassabo International Hospital.
  • Arrange a HIH physician visit
    A HIH physician can visit your office to meet you and your colleagues and discuss your specialties and expertise. This also offers us an opportunity to learn more about your practice and how we can work in partnership to provide optimal care for mutual patients.
  • Listen to your feedback
    How was your experience interacting with Hassabo International Hospital? And how was your patient’s experience? Let us know what went smoothly and how we can improve.
