What is endocrinology?
Endocrinology is a branch of medicine concerned with the disorders of the endocrine system including the pancreas, the thyroid, parathyroid, pineal, hypothalamus, adrenal and pituitary glands, and the ovaries and testes.
What is an endocrinologist?
An endocrinologist is a physician who is fully qualified to evaluate, diagnose, and treat the disorders of the endocrine system.

Our Endocrinology Department is specially designed to care for patients with suspected or proven hormonal (endocrine) disorders. We are very proud that our team of endocrinologists is able to provide high quality care to our patients. Symptoms checklist
The symptoms of a disorder in the endocrine system vary widely as the symptoms you experience depend mainly on the affected gland of your endocrine system. What’s more, the severity of the condition also has a role in the symptoms you experience. So there is no symptom that is universal, but most patients with endocrine disorders experience weakness and fatigue. It is wise to see medical advice when you feel your daily functioning is impaired, as an endocrine disorder can affect your energy level, and other functions.
The common symptoms which may indicate a disorder in your endocrine system:

Information About The Clinic
Do you know that the hormones which your endocrine system glands release affect the functions throughout your body! What’s more, little imbalance in these circulating hormones can cause a wide range of health issues. So it is wise to seek a medical advice once you have felt a change in your daily functioning.
During the first visit, your doctor will listen to your concerns, may ask a series of questions including your current medications, family history of endocrine disorders, other medical conditions including allergies, eating habits to help reach the proper diagnosis and treatment, and then examine you thoroughly through checking your heart rate and blood pressure, and inspecting the condition of your skin, hair, teeth, and mouth.in addition to that, blood and urine samples may be taken. At the end of the visit, your doctor may ask for some tests to help reach the diagnosis.
Patients are generally seen by appointment, however if your situation is urgent, please inform our staff when you call or visit our 24/7 Emergency Department. Every effort will be made to see you as soon as possible and the physician will be immediately notified to assess your needs.
When you schedule your appointment we will ask you to provide important information that will help us evaluate your current condition:
- Be prepared with the questions you want to ask
- Bring a notebook and pen, we encourage you to take notes
- If this is a follow up visit, you have to remember to write down the changes you have experienced since your last visit.
- List of medications that you’re allergic to
- All records that refer in any way to your condition
- A complete list of your medications
- All prior medical records, including x-ray films, biopsy reports, lab and/or pathology records
- Any necessary referrals or prior authorization required by your insurance company.
